Tightest energy spectrum |
energy level stability is built into the Rhodotron® design. The Rhodotron®’s extremely tight energy spectrum allows great flexibility and control in beam line and scanning optics. Furthermore even at very low and very high power, the voltage remains stable, ensuring unchanged dose deposition.

Non diverging beam output |
The Rhodotron® can be supplied with a two-staged scan horn system that delivers a non-diverging (parallel ray) beam. This unique Rhodotron® option provides both the uniformity of dose delivery and the efficiency of beam utilization. |

Electrical efficiency |
the Rhodotron® has "wall-plug to beam power" electrical efficiencies of up to 50 percent depending upon the beam power and model, and is consistently 2 to 4 times more efficient than competing units.
These efficiencies translate into savings of hundreds of thousands of dollars per year, depending upon the size of the unit and local electricity rates. |

Versatility |
Since it offers the full power range and multiple beam lines rated at different energies can be extracted from a single electron accelerator, you can configure a single Rhodotron® to drive an entire multi-purpose sterilization / cross-linking facility. |
Fastest ramps |
The power of the Rhodotron® instantly adapts to line speed while maintaining a constant dose even at very low current. Production throughput is therefore dictated by your requirements rather than constrained by the irradiation system’s capacity.
Similarly, the start-up time of the Rhodotron is very short, allowing for no warm-up process.
